Although officially the third longest pier in the UK at over half a mile long, Walton Pier is by far the longest going out into the open sea which makes it ideal for sea fishing. In the summer, the main target species are Bass, Garfish and Sole with the winter turning to Flounder and Cod. Stingrays to 30lb can also be caught from the pier! Anglers can cast their lines out to sea for as many fish as they can catch for just £6 per day from 9am – 5pm. 24 hour annual licences can also be purchased for £75.
